In 2025, The Gifting Project shared gifts of love and food bags filled with delight to nearly 1,000 children in need. Bags filled with specifically selected gifts for a child in need is our mission. The majority of the children we serve live in our local Tarrant County community with a small subset also living in Denton and Dallas Counties.This year, we’ve set an ambitious goal to serve OVER 1,200 children!With your support, we can make this our biggest, brightest season yet, and bring joy to children in our community who need it most.
BIRTHDAY PROJECT
Receiving a gift makes children feel valued, worthy, appreciated, loved! The Gifting Project aims to provide gifts at special times all year. We launched the Birthday Project in Fall 2022 and have served over 80 children a year for each school year since starting the program. For 2026 we are expanding the program to over 300 children.
Volunteer Organizations
The Gifting Project is a volunteer led organization that depends on volunteers and supporters like you to be successful. Angel sponsors are needed to shop for wish list items and deliver unwrapped gifts to one of our designated drop-off sites in early December. As always, our ability to serve those in need depends on support from organizations and individuals willing to partner with The Gifting Project by contributing gifts, funds or time.

THE 2026 SOUTHLAKE HOLIDAY HOME TOUR is Engel & Völkers signature fundraising event benefiting the Gifting Project Southlake (TGP) ensuring that all children feel the joy of receiving a gift thoughtfully picked out just for them as well as Special Olympics Texas (SOTX) providing year-round sports training and athletic competition for Special Olympics athletes.This year’s spectacular event will feature four homes in Southlake decked out in holiday splendor and will run from noon-5pm on Sunday, December 6.
