HOLIDAY PROJECT
It's not trash! It's our mission!
In 2022, The Gifting Project shared gifts of love and food bags filled with delight to over 600 children in need. Trash bags filled with specifically selected gifts for a child in need is our mission. We delivered 598 angel bags and over 300 holiday food bags during the 2022 holiday season. The majority of these children were in Tarrant County with others in Denton and Dallas Counties.
BIRTHDAY PROJECT
Receiving a gift makes children feel valued, worthy, appreciated, loved! With a special emphasis on holiday gifts, The Gifting Project aims to provide gifts at special times all year. We launched the Birthday Project in Fall 2022 and served 75 children with Birthday Bags during the 2022-2023 school year. The birthday bags provide each child with a book gift card or age appropriate book, birthday gift card and birthday theme treats for qualifying school age children.
Volunteer Organizations
The Gifting Project is a volunteer led organization that depends on volunteers and supporters like you to be successful. Angel sponsors are needed to shop for wish list items and deliver unwrapped gifts to one of our designated drop-off sites in early December. Similarly, we need sponsors to shop for and deliver assembled food bags to our designated drop off sites. You can also drop new, unwrapped toys or food items at the Southlake and Westlake Fire Stations. As always, our ability to serve those in need depends on support from organizations and individuals willing to partner with The Gifting Project by contributing gifts, food, funds or time.

THE 2023 SOUTHLAKE HOLIDAY HOME TOUR is Engel & Völkers signature fundraising event benefiting the Gifting Project Southlake (TGP) ensuring that all children feel the joy of receiving a gift thoughtfully picked out just for them as well as Special Olympics Texas (SOTX) providing year-round sports training and athletic competition for Special Olympics athletes.This year’s spectacular event will feature four homes in Southlake decked out in holiday splendor and will run from noon-5pm on Sunday, December 10.
